久米川幼稚園は、東村山市のSDGsパートナーとして活動しており、以下のような取り組みを通じて子どもたちの関心と興味を引き出し、支援・指導を行っています。

私たちは、子どもたちが各目標に関心を持ち、興味をもって取り組むことができるような環境を提供しています。具体的には、以下のゴールを重視しています。

ゴール4・5・10・16：

一人ひとりの個性を大切にし、豊かな環境の中で直接体験を重視します。子どもたちの興味関心の幅を広げ、素直な心を育成することを目指しています。

ゴール7・12：

電気管理システムを活用して節電を徹底し、食育を通じて残食を減らす取り組みを行っています。また、リサイクルやリユースを活用した遊びを充実させることで、持続可能な生活について学びます。

ゴール11：

安心で安全な環境づくりと維持に取り組んでいます。子どもたちが安心して過ごせるよう、安全対策を徹底し、環境の保全にも努めています。

ゴール15：

農作物の育成などを通じて、子どもたちは直接的な体験を通じて陸上資源の大切さを学びます。自然とのふれあいを通じて、環境への理解を深める機会を提供しています。

Kumegawa Kindergarten is actively engaged as an SDGs partner of Higashimurayama City, implementing various initiatives to foster children’s interest and engagement through support and guidance. We aim to provide an environment where children can develop their curiosity and engage with each goal. Specifically, we prioritize the following goals:

Goal 4, 5, 10, 16: We value each child’s individuality and emphasize hands-on experiences in a rich environment. Our goal is to broaden their interests and develop their sincere hearts.

Goal 7, 12: We thoroughly promote energy-saving through the use of electricity management systems and work towards reducing food waste through food education. Furthermore, we enhance activities that incorporate recycling and reusing to learn about sustainable living.

Goal 11: We focus on creating and maintaining a safe and secure environment. We prioritize safety measures to ensure that children can spend their time with peace of mind while also striving to preserve the environment.

Goal 15: Through activities such as cultivating crops, children learn about the importance of land resources through direct experiences. We provide opportunities for children to deepen their understanding of the environment through interaction with nature.

Kumegawa Kindergarten, as an SDGs partner of Higashimurayama City, aims to instill a sense of awareness in children towards a sustainable future and contribute to the development of the community.
